Hmm what is it that I'm trying to create here? Any idea?
Well actually I wanted to create those Martha-Stewart-wedding-invitation-photo-look. But maybe I'm aiming too high. Then at least I made a good use for my camera ^_^ What do you think?

You could've guess the color for the wedding is blue blue blue or in this case, light (sky) blue. Actually it took us forever to agree on the shade of blue we wanted to use. I never knew before this that there were blue that was too green or too purple. I was like thinking to myself, oh come on don't be too fussy :s On the other side Peter, like most men think that blue is just blue, just a color :P In the end, we agreed on this one for the invitation. Then if you ask, why this kinda blue for the invitation. Let me think of a intelectual answer (pletak, dilempar sepatu ama pembaca)....haha joking, we just think it added a bit of depth to the invitation itself.
As for the flowers, you could see it too, it's the pink gerbera. I always love gerberas, they come in many cheerfull colors, moreover they are not so expensive and (most importantly) they last long. The little white flowers are called baby's breath in English, I don't know what's the name in Dutch. I did ask the florist about the name, but it was a rather difficult name to remember for my-not-so-good-short-term-memory.

The design and printing was done by Peter. Though I was fussy with the font choice. Haha. I don't like too formal look, I wanted something that is modern and simple.
The photo was shot by my brother, Deni. It was September 2007, almost 2 years ago in Menjangan Island (North Bali). We went there with the whole family to do some snorkeling, And believe us, the sky and sea colors were real colors, beautiful isn't it?

Other thing that we really like from the invitation was the stamps. To add a little bit of personal touch, we custom made them. You could easily order them at TnT Post.Of course for a different price than normal but nothing like your own stamps isn't it?
How about the ribbon? Hmm lets see.....sorry I'm running out of intelectual, witty or philosophical answer behind it. Just to make it look nicer and I got things to do in my spare time, you know cutting and tying ribbon :p lol.
Now, for all of you who have received the invitation by snail mail aka post, do let us know about your coming or not. Looking forward to hear from you.
luvly! Great idea for the personalized stamps...
